It's been a while since I properly blogged, and what with keeping my Instagram, Facebook pages and website going I wasn't sure if it was necessary. But I quite miss the community and inspiration found over here. And now that am no longer juggling my Illustration around a full time job, I thought that now was as good a time as any!
I have been venturing into some new avenues with my illustration, one being Wedding stationary. Having recently designed a set for a close friend I decided to get together a collection of ready-made invites. Have always adored flowers, and so I decided to make this a priority in my designs, meaning Brides can match their bouquet to their invites or maybe explore Floriography and the language of flowers when choosing the elements.
Each design has been named after one of my close friends and they all have a different 'personality' and style:
'Ellena' 'Grace' 'Kate' and 'Lou Lou'
I then took part in The Big North Devon Wedding show and it was a really enjoyable day, chatting to Brides and Grooms and other local businesses, it's definitely something I would do again. All of the invites are now available in my online shop, so please take a peak and let me know what you think!
