English Rose Garden
As a present to my friend Grace (and one of my best patrons), I painted a wall motif on the chimney breast of her Edwardian front room. She prepared the surface and painted a slate grey background, which I then covered in wild rambling roses and cow parsley. I also gilded a few of the flowers with copper paint, to catch the afternoon sunlight.
I think this has been my most favourite mural to date!

Plum Tree
Fable Mural Co. has been busy painting in a beautiful barn conversion in Buckland Brewer today. Orchard Barn got it's very own plum tree, owl, hidden insects and cow parsley - as well as a robin, blue tit and wren.
I'm hoping this mural will be enjoyed by all the families who come to stay here - it's a beautiful space and I really enjoyed working on it!
If you want to commission a mural, take advantage of my introductory rates. You can find my pricing guide here.
Orchard Barn is available for holidays all year round - a beautiful stone building that sleeps up to 6 people with it's own orchard and charming surroundings. It is close enough to visit the North Devon beaches as well as being tucked away near the quiet village of Buckland Brewer. Perfect countryside retreat!

CYAN/MAGENTA
I absolutely love playing around with electric looking colours in my work. And have had fun today working on some alternative film fosters for 'Labyrinth' and 'True Romance'. Hoping to turn these into big prints, so keep your peepers out for them if you'd like to jazz up a bare wall or two!

SECRET 7''
This year the Secret 7'' charity was Nordoff Robbins and the exhibition took place at Somerset House - with hundreds of dedicated vinyl lovers camping out over night to be one of the first to snap up designs by the likes of Sir Peter Blake, Yoko Ono, Julian Opie, David Shrigley, Sam Taylor-Johnson, Sir Paul Smith and Martin Parr...and me!
The artist must keep their design secret until it has been purchased and today was the day my St Vincent design got picked up!
And here she is!

NOCTIS MAGAZINE
I recently graced the pages of the XIII issue of Noctis Magazine with the running theme: Art Explosion. For this I asked writer Martin Pettitt to interpret a collection of famous paintings throughout time covering different genres and subjects. From his poetry I then interpreted them into Illustrations.
Illustration will always be a medium that goes hand in hand with literature. With all it's uses across fashion, music and design today - for me it's most important role is to aid the imagination and help tell a story. I love how through this double interpretation, we are left with unrecognisable portrayals of some of the most iconic artworks throughout history. Told by words, by human form and by the language of flowers.
