I will be working on some Alternative film posters soon and currently considering film titles with a view to make them available as prints.
I have already worked on a couple over the last few years and it's a brief that is really fun and indulgent! I have always been inspired by film posters throughout history and I think there are some amazing artists out there who re-intepret cult films in such a fantastic way, it's a great vehicle for Illustration and graphic design.
Above is something I worked on very recently for Pretty Woman, which is a long time favourite of mine, and actually celebrates it's 25th Anniversary this year!
Below is something I did for the beautiful, haunting film Adele H starring Isabelle Adjani.
I will also turn the below into proper film posters soon. The Little White Lies one was the winner for their To The Wonder competition. And below that is an illustration I did a while ago of Sue Lyons from Stanley Kubrick's Lolita.
Tell me what you would like to see as an alternative film poster?
